Mo Rocca makes a welcome return, as once again he takes a peek inside ‘Grandma’s Secret Cookbook’, travelling the length and breadth of America to learn from some of the country’s wisest chefs. In New York City, Lower East Side legend Ruth Taube teaches him how to make the best matzo ball soup and farfel, while in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Nepalese-born Meena and Amar Giri wow him with dumplings known as momos and a traditional goat curry. There’s spicy goulash and chicken paprikash, courtesy of Hungarian grandmother Julia Garay, while in Fannin, Texas, Louis McMillan shares the secrets of running a top barbecue joint.
