Ingredients

Cherry Filling:

4 cups pitted tart cherries (these can be from frozen or jarred)

2 cups sugar

2 cinnamon sticks

3 tablespoons cornstarch

 

Strudel Dough:

1½ cups cake flour

1 cup bread flour

¼ teaspoon salt

1 cup warm water

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar

 

Assembly:

⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

⅔ cup dry breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons water, for brushing

Icing sugar, for dusting
