Frosting:

142 grams semi sweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped

5 egg yolks, slightly warmed

½ cup granulated sugar, divided

1 tablespoon water

1 teaspoon corn syrup

1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon salt
