Changing the face of Asian food in America one menu at a time, food writer and TV chef, Ching-He Huang, travels across the country to help struggling restaurants update and revitalize their menus and make over their run-of-the-mill establishments
Jet off with the charismatic Ching-He Huang on a delightful food adventure across her native Asia, where she’ll unearth some simply magnificent local dishes and cook up some of her own taste bud tingling creations. Beginning her journey in Hong Kong, Ching meets some local innovative chefs who are fixing up some incredible Sichuan fried chicken bao, lobster noodles, XO scallops and roasted suckling pig. Ching expresses her culinary magic in Kowloon as she cooks alongside some local chefs, with dishes like golden spring rolls, snow-topped BBQ pork bao, chilli harbour prawns and wok-seared lamb. The award-winning chef embraces her sweet tooth in a pancake eatery before packing in the heat with a spicy crab dish at a popular local hotspot. Be sure to check out Ching’s maiden voyage on Food Network this January.
